Mackenzie is a multifaceted graphic designer and art director from Brooklyn, NY, currently living and working in Los Angeles, CA. Her practice centers around visual identity systems, art direction, digital, print, and experiential design. She holds an MFA in Visual Communication Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a dual BA in Psychology and Fine Art from Stony Brook University. Mackenzie dedicated years to refining her craft within the Chicago design community—collaborating with non-profit organizations like the Art Institute of Chicago and the Field Museum, working as a Brand Designer at Gensler, and an Art Director at the digital creative agency Envoy. She brought her expertise to the New York design community, serving as a Design Director at Superunion. Her intrinsic curiosity, attraction to depth, and exposure to diverse areas–psychology, fine art, and writing–continue to influence her design process, allowing her to arrive at design solutions that exercise consideration, cohesion, constraint and integrity.

Mackenzie is currently a Design Director at JKR.
