Seeking
This is a series of real google searches, captured in unedited screenshots. In a moment of exhaustion, I turned to Google to answer some existential questions, and began to observe what others were asking. Both revealing and odd, these screenshots capture the most commonly searched phrases.
As I have not enabled Google Web History, these results are not altered by my past searches.
The screen shots are organized into three different sections to create a subtle narrative arc, with red signifying the most negative searches, yellow indicating existential questioning, and green marking optimistic discoveries.
These findings expand from everyday concerns, to some of life’s biggest questions.
